First Swim in Tahoe

Yesterday we arrived at Tahoe. I drove part of the way, and it was my first time on the highway!

Today I went for a 2 hour 45 minute, 4.6 mile swim. Amy and I started in CA swam across the boarded to NV and then swam back to CA. We event jumped off some rocks along the way. 

Lake Tahoe is a little different since there is altitude and less buoyancy than a pool and ocean. Today was a hard swim, but since I came here a week early, I know I have time to acclimate.
