First River Swim

Angel did her first River 3k/1.5miles swim Time: 50mins, Temp:65F, July 4th.
Angel placed 223 out of 2997 female swimmers, 759 out of 8605 in the overall 3k event.
It is simply amazing to see the world's 4th ranked open water swim with more than 15,000 participants!! It’s is one of Angel's favorite swims, she loved it and wants to do more international water swims.
Vansbrosimningen is Sweden’s most classical open water event. The course is 3k, and is swum in rivers Vanån and Västerdalälven. The first 2k is with co-current flow and the last 1k is against the powerful current.
Vansbrosimningen was carried out for the first time in 1950s.
